I was born at a very young age in Augusta, Maine. My father was my first musical influence, nurturing my love of music. Another significant musical influence was my older brother, who introduced me to the great rock bands of the 60s and 70s.

When I was in my early teens, my mother bought me a piano. She played piano as well. In the early 90s, my brother and I, along with some friends, started Smoked Salmon. Over the years, many talented musicians have come and gone. What’s the secret to Smoked Salmon’s longevity? Surround yourself with talented musicians and don’t give up. I’m still in Augusta, and the band continues to evolve.

I enjoy listening to Frank Zappa, Emerson Lake and Palmer, David Bowie, the Grateful Dead, Phish, and many others. I have two dogs, love drinking coffee, and enjoy my TV set.
