I started playing guitar at age 14. My first influences were Joe Perry, Angus Young, and Eddie Van Halen. Then I moved on to Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. 

After graduating high school and spending time in the University of Maine at Augusta Jazz and Contemporary music program, I quickly became obsessed with Phish, Pink Floyd, and The Grateful Dead, which blended with my previous heroes into the style I play today. 

I've been in Smoked Salmon for 15 years, playing hundreds of gigs across the state of Maine.
